World-Beating Lightweight Bass Amplification
Many brands in our industry claim to produce equipment of the highest quality and in a number of cases, many in fact do.
In relation to Bergantino Audio Systems however, that claim isn’t just a piece of marketing noise. With many industry accolades and a large number of respected professional users that rely on the brand’s products daily, it can totally be justified
Founder Jim Bergantino has worked in a number of fields in his career – from hi-tech electrical engineering to high-end hi-fi and the professional audio world. After designing custom bass cabinets for many other leading brands, he went out on his own to start Bergantino Audio Systems in 2001.
To this day, the company remains a tight-knit firm which lets them focus on being an engineering driven company, rather than being solely a sales driven venture. This allows them to look forward with their designs and their unique approach to developing products. Many others brands in the bass amplification category chase very high quantities, which dictates that their product design decisions are subject to ‘unit cost’, rather than engineering excellence. All products are designed and engineered by Jim Bergantino, absolutely nothing is contracted out.
Jim sources the very finest custom transducers and materials for his speaker cabinets from all over the world. By doing this, it enables Bergantino to meet specific design and engineering goals for each product and he continues to develop their own electronics with a ‘forward-looking’ approach, rather than just slavishly following the crowd.
From the incredibly lightweight HDN Neodymium cabinets to the ground-breaking Forté and B|Amp bass amplifiers, Bergantino truly is world-beating in every respect, with the highest quality of design and manufacturing, all proudly built in the USA.
B|Amp
The Limits Are Off!
Meet B|Amp – a total game changer in the bass amplification world. This state-of-the-art bass amplifier is incredibly flexible and delivers maximum performance in a lightweight, compact, yet simple to use package.
What makes B|Amp unique is that it considers and includes the response of connected speaker cabinets as part of the amplification signal path. This is a completely new approach to bass amplification and is accomplished through our Proprietary Profile EQ System, along with many other important and useful design features. No other bass amplifier on the market has the ability to manage speaker and overall system performance like the B|AMP and at the same time uphold the utmost fidelity we crave for with all our designs.
It’s not just about the Speaker Profile technology though. With built-in drive effects, 4 bands of fully adjustable parametric EQ, an on-board Variable-Ratio Compressor, Preset Storage, USB, Tuner and stacks of power, B|Amp is packed so full of thoughtful and intelligent engineering features that even the most demanding player will be able to get the best from their chosen instrument.
Welcome to the best sounding and most technologically advanced bass amplifier in the world!

High Definition Neo Cabinets
Feel The Bass – Don’t Carry It!
The quality of our bass cabinets is what put Bergantino Audio Systems on the map. The latest HDN (High Definition Neo) series of lightweight speaker cabinets is no exception.
Many people will tell you that the best tone and response can only come from a traditional and heavy Ceramic/Ferric equipped driver system. Neodymium based systems, although incredibly lightweight, can often be sterile and not as tight in the mid-range and bass frequencies. However, with our HDN range, Jim worked hard to retain the great Bergantino Audio sound and give players all the weight savings of Neodymium, but not at the expense of tone and performance. Extremely high-quality internal components are solely of Bergantino design – no ‘off-the-shelf’ parts are used here.
The architecture of the HDN precision tuned cabinets and enclosures are built with the very best lightweight Italian poplar plywood (with Baltic birch baffle boards). This lightweight cabinet material, selected to our demanding specifications, helps to reduce the overall cabinet weight. The exterior of the speaker cabinets are finished in a durable bronco Tolex covering for long life and cabinet protection, while a rigid black grille is added to protect the drivers from damage – this minimises the coloration and tone reduction found with cloth speaker grilles.
Our custom-designed Neodymium magnet woofers (unique to Bergantino Audio Systems) have a punchy low-end response along with a very sweet and detailed midrange, the most important part of the audio spectrum in our opinion.
Fretless and upright players often love the tone of HDN cabinets because of how the midrange ‘speaks’ with their instruments, while players who want a heavier vibe also love the tight capabilities of the LF response, all in a cabinet that is so incredibly easy to carry.
For the HF, our all new designed high-intelligibility tweeter is mated to the woofers through a custom-designed phase-coherent crossover with a tweeter control.

The HDN series is available in four driver configurations, all with Tweeters and are designed to be mixed and matched to allow you to reach your own tone goals:
- HDN 112 – 1×12”
- HDN 212 – 2×12”
- HDN 210 – 2×10”
- HDN 410 – 4×10”
Quite frankly these are the finest lightweight speaker cabinets on the market today.
